Volunteer!

** Calling
all Volunteers - We need your help! Volunteers are
desperately needed to side walk and lead during the Fall
riding sessions. Please call us at 815-439-3659 if you are able
help.**
Ready Set Ride volunteers
are an integral part of the therapy
sessions. We make every effort to ensure each volunteer is
welcomed and allowed to expand their interests. If you love horses or love kids, this is the
perfect opportunity to make a difference in the lives of
children with disabilities like Autism, Cerebral Palsy and
Down Syndrome. Volunteers must be at least 13
years of age, and no prior equine experience is required.
Adult volunteers are especially in need.
Volunteers have an easy
time becoming acquainted at the barn due to a wonderful staff
eager to show you the ropes. Volunteering can be done individually or by groups. For groups
efforts, we provide daily tasks and/or small projects. There's
no shortage of chores,
so please let us know what interests you'd like to pursue.
Volunteers in Action!
Barn Clean-up Project
- on May 24th, several individuals donated part of their
weekend to Ready Set Ride. As
a result of this combined effort, we completed a number of
much-needed projects on the Barn and surrounding property.
A very special “THANKS” goes out to Jim & Debby Weck of J.K.
Construction in Plainfield for supplying the Bobcat to move all
the heavy materials. For a slide show of the days efforts,

Whether you’re able to volunteer an hour
each week or stay for an entire day of sessions, we appreciate
the time and talents you're able to contribute. Because of
our Volunteers, barn doors at Ready Set Ride remain open! For more information on
volunteering please call us at 815-439-3659, e-mail us at admin@readysetride.org or submit the form below:
