Every session at Ready Set Ride has a PATH certified trained instructor, two side walkers, and one horse leader. By providing students with such extensive personal attention a greater length of therapeutic time can be spent with the horses. This hands-on approach provides the students with a higher degree of comfort, stability, and control. Sessions focus on the student’s abilities to participate in a series of movements and tasks designed by the instructor to work harmoniously with rider and horse. Throughout the session instructors continually interact with each student to emphasize activities which stimulate areas of need. Instructors use various forms of communication consisting of visual, audible and kinesthetic throughout the sessions to make sure the student’s participation is meaningful and enjoyable. From the beginning of the session to the end, you’ll always see a smile on a student's face.
